Hello,I am writing to share some feedback and suggestions regarding the client portal. While I enjoy using Theranest, I believe there are several opportunities to enhance the client-facing side of the platform to make it more aesthetic and user-friendly. Specifically, the following updates would be great: - Improved User Interface: A more modern and appealing design for the portal, particularly for the intake submission process. To be more competitive with other software.- Required Document Uploads: A feature that requires clients to upload photos of their ID and insurance cards within the intake forms.- Branding Customization: The ability to add company logos to the client portal, similar to the customization available on the clinician login page.

Hi we really need to be able to export the first name, and last name, and preferred name in any export into excel. It is needed for full identification, and we need to be able to sort by either of the 3 name identifiers.plse advise.thank you

WE REALLY COULD USE THE ABILITY LIKE ms TO GRAB A FOLDER OR FOLDERS WITH DOCS INSIDE AND UPLOAD IN ONE CLICK.AND THE SAME FOR DOWNLOADS. 

I’d really like to see an addition to the ledger/invoice area so we can add EOBs or just general correspondence with insurance, etc. It would be nice if each invoice had that section but an overall tab might still be sufficient. 

I’m reaching out because I’m having some issues within Claims Services and Automation Settings.I am hoping to confirm how the automation is supposed to function. My goal is to have an invoice automatically created when a session status is changed from “Upcoming” to “Kept.” If I leave the automation settings as they are currently configured, will that occur automatically?Recently, I’ve noticed that claims are not consistently being created during the nightly process. I’m trying to determine whether I may have adjusted a setting that impacted this, or if something else is preventing claims from generating.If the invoice creation upon marking a session as “Kept” is not currently an automation feature, is that something that can be enabled or added?Thank you in advance for your help. I appreciate any clarification you can provide

When making appointments, the appointment window has always had the annoying glitch of becoming too large when setting a telehealth appointment. Then you have to scroll down every single time to save the appointment. This is annoying when you have to do it over and over. All they have to do is to make the “notes” box smaller (and expandable) and not have it be a set size.Also, now the cursor does not automatically go to the client name box, so every time, you have to move the cursor manually back up to that box. Again, this is annoying when you have to do this over and over. For a while, this glitch was fixed, just long enough for us to get used to opening a new appointment window and starting to type. Now you start to type, realize the cursor is not in the name box, move the cursor and type again.  With all the wonderful new “fixes”, can’t Ensora just fix some of the little annoying things that make things unpleasant on a daily basis?

TheranestWe really need a SAVE command when we configure a report especially when most of them are used and reused. All the regular financial and related systems have a save facility like Quickbooks and others.

I do not like the new look to the client info page. There is too much stuff going on at the top now. I never had trouble with the old page. Please get ride of all the duplicate info at the top. Especially the very top line of info. It is unnecessary. Also bring back the client portal button that says if the client portal is active or not.

As of the new update yesterday, February 11, 2026, the client profile page is down for my entire practice. We can’t access a LOT of information. Help and advice please.

I’m experiencing a recurring scheduling issue in Theranest. When I schedule a new client and open the room selection dropdown, my therapy office shows as occupied, even though there is no appointment scheduled for that room at that time or on that day. Has anyone else experienced this problem and/or any suggestions in fixing it?

Hello, I am up for yearly renewal and want to explore the new Theranest pricing. I’ve sent out a few messages starting in November of last year but I haven’t heard back. What is the process to changing to the new pricing? 

Sorry that Theranest decided to make it difficult for them to switch credit card billing.   Welcome Cash, Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash App, etc.   I guess I’ll just use a calendar.

Hi all, I’ve had several new clients report the same thing about signing up for an account in theranest. First, they rarely receive the first invitation or it goes to spam. If I send them the sign up or login link directly to their email, they still struggle and receive error messages. Some of my clients are savvy enough because they work in tech, and they’ve even tried to request a new password. Nothing works and I’ve had the same report from four different tech savvy new clients. I’ve reached out to tech support and they basically quoted the help page which I’ve already followed multiple times. It’s really aggravating for busy people to keep encountering this problem. Anyone else had this issue? Am I missing something? Any help appreciated. Thanks!

I feel as though a lot of our time is spent on helping clients navigate the portal, entering their insurance and payment information etc. It there a document I can download and share or a video for clients I can add to our intake emails to help them understand more and eliminate the time spent on helping them?  Or do I have to just copy and past all of the parts they have in the experience hub and create my own?  The challenge is we don’t have the client view of the portal only our therapist view. Let me know if anyone has done this. 

Is there a standard or ideal way to set up psychologists in the system? Is there a difference between psychologist and other clinicians (therapists)? Also, can psychologists have different documents in their ‘standard’ documents compared to other clinicians?

Is there a way to set alerts or notifications for a Supervisee to sign/complete reports?Our clinic has practicum students and interns that complete documentation that is reviewed by supervisors. The process for giving them feedback is cumbersome and can present privacy & security challenges if the supervisor and supervisee are not able to meet synchronously to review. Is there plan for adding functionality to allow a supervisor to provide feedback on a documentation and return it to the staff to correct - and then route back for signature? (similar to the way the Supervisor gets the alert and can sign their reports? Then the report would get returned to the Supervisor for final signature. 

Are Theranest clients able to complete general documents (ie, intake, credit card, insurance, etc) after the client is archived?

While there are a number of reports in Theranest/Ensora, they do not meet the needs of the practice. There are a large number of discrete data fields within Theranest that can be used in making customized reports. When will functionality for customized reports be enabled? In the “old community forum” it has been brought up many times over the years and there are over 600 votes for it. This is a basic capability that is needed to manage business and clinical operations. We completed a review of all reports to identify the data elements in each of them to see if it contains information that we need. These are just some of the gaps that were identified.Detailed Attendance Need to be able to differentiate between clients that are students and clients that are from the community.  Need to differentiate by appointment type  Appointment Status We have to run a cancel and Rescheduled report in conju

My provider is not able to prescribe controlled substances all of a sudden. As an admin. I need to approved something but don’t know where to go to do this?

Does anyone use Ensora for Targeted Case Management in Texas? 

We use lots of dynamic forms and they are helpful.But we really need to be able to create a new form that will prepopulate a custom field in a new form by linking it to an existing standard field in Theranest (just like we can already do with Client Name date of birth,etc.)So when the custom form is displayed/printed/(exported?) it just takes whatever is in that linked standard field already and inserts it.(doesnt save it in the custom form field).Everyone could use this feature to help automate processes and minimize thrashing around in the Thera program for certain key data used frequently in the practice.So all those developer requests for "Add custom options for dynamic forms" would go away with users able to get what they need!anyone like this??

hellowe have recently added these 2 related needs to New features needed but response was unavailable now:-Download multiple files-Download multiple folders w/multiple folders & filesWe need to dnld multiple files and folders from general documents tab for managing data outside Theranest. It is a burden to not have this basic file/folder manipulation capability.Does anyone have a way around it other than “one at a time”??
