Release Notes: January 30, 2026

Staff     The permission to Add, Edit, and Archive Dynamic Forms has been moved from the Therapist role to Default Permissions. Admins and Org Admins now have this permission by default, and Therapists retain it only if it was previously assigned. This update resolves issues where admins could not create or modify forms and gives teams more flexibility in managing form access. Support Center    The ‘Give feedback’ and ‘Suggest a feature’ links under the support center and in staff preferences have been removed as the links to these idea portals will no longer be active. Clients     Corrected an issue in the new Client details experience, where the “Other” fields did not allow additional information to be entered for the following sections: Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation, Race, Religion, and Preferred Language. Now, selecting “Other” displays a text field to enter additional information. Cases & Notes Clicking Add Progress Note from the Missing Progress Notes report now opens a case selection window as expected when a client has multiple cases. Previously, the button redirected to the Client > Notes page. For Ensora Data Collection users, the Edit Progress Note link on the Appointment window now correctly displays as Signed when the imported note includes a signature. Previously, it incorrectly showed Not Signed even when a signed note existed. [Back to Top]

Active and archived forms now have separate tabs to reduce clutter, and key client information is highlighted at the top for quick action. These updates are designed to streamline your workflow and improve navigation across the app.  NOTE: This feature is being rolled out in phases, so if you do not see this update yet, you will receive it in a future release.  Cases & Notes     We have renamed the Ensora AI add on to AI Session Assistant to better represent the feature’s purpose and capabilities. You will see this new name reflected across the platform, including in subscription settings, alerts, and welcome emails. As part of this change, the progress note template used for documenting recorded sessions has also been renamed to “AI Session Summary”. Jump to Section:New Features & Improvements Defect Fixes  New Features & ImprovementsClient Portal New clinical documentation templates have been added to the Intake form section for new accounts created after this release or for those on the Ensora Essentials plan. These include the NICHQ Vanderbilt Assessment Follow-Up Parent Informant and the BDI form. Existing customers already have those forms under the Archived Dynamic Forms tab, which you can copy as an intake form if needed. All accounts will also now see a new template of the DASS-42 form available. Dynamic Forms A new multi-use case form, the DASS-42, is now available as an optional template under Dynamic Forms. Accounts created before this release will find it in the Archived tab, while new accounts will have it active by default. Similarly, the PIE, DAP, and BIRP progress note templates are archived for existing accounts and active for new accounts created after this release.  Schedule Performance improvements were made to the Agenda page to speed up load time for the page, particularly for larger organizations.  Clients ​​​​​​​We have added new protections to SMS messaging in the Reminders Log to help prevent malicious message activity. When a temporary limit is reached, a notification will prompt you to wait a few minutes before trying again. Billing ​​​​​​​The automatic cancellation policy now auto-populates any amount entered in the seeded canceled service type field when the fee is not waived. Previously, the fee appeared blank even if an amount was entered at the service type level, and would require reentry. The same improvement applies to the canceled, no-show, and late cancel seeded service types for those not using the automatic cancellation policy. The workflow for creating invoices from group appointments has been improved. Instead of being redirected to the wrong ledger tab, you will now be redirected to the Recent 30 Days tab only if the invoice’s service date falls within that period; otherwise, you will be sent to the All tab to locate the invoice. Organization ​​​​​​​The email verification banner shown to those that are in a free trial will now reflect clearer wording and our updated design system. Client Portal ​​​​​​​Error messaging has been updated for clients attempting to register on the client portal with an email already in use. Instead of revealing the email status, messaging has been revised to state that an error has occurred and directs the client to contact the organization for assistance. The client portal link that previously redirected to the Knowledge Hub was updated has been updated to a new link that directs clients to a more comprehensive, client-specific support section for additional assistance. [Back to Top]   Defect FixesSchedule Resolved an issue preventing scrolling on scheduling and agenda pages for certain mobile devices, operating systems, or browsers. Scrolling now works as expected. Fixed a validation error that appeared when a required cancellation fee field was blank, even after switching to a fee-waived status. The error no longer blocks saving. Improved appointment dragging on the schedule so start and end times update dynamically as you drag. Addressed a problem where filtered-out clients still appeared on the calendar. They now disappear when excluded by filters. Corrected an issue where applying a cancellation status to series appointments more than 60 days ahead failed. Status changes now apply correctly. Fixed agenda loading for staff with limited client permissions when navigating beyond 60 days. Agendas now load as expected. Corrected an issue where appointments created from the Client profile displayed incorrectly when a user’s local time and organization time zones differed causing a 25 hour appointment duration, instead of 1 hour. Durations now display accurately. Clients Restored household information fields on the client details page for those using the new navigation experience. Previously entered data remains intact. Fixed truncated form names in the “More” menu for organizations with many dynamic forms. All forms are now accessible. Corrected an issue where referral field values were reset and could not be saved. Existing values are restored, and new entries save properly. Cases & Notes Made treatment plan fields, including “Add goals,” fully accessible to screen readers. Reports Ensora payments report PDFs now display only selected fields and columns instead of defaults. Adjusted report tables (e.g., payroll data export, invoice aging, detailed attendance legacy) to fit within margins for easier viewing. Organization For active client plans, cancelling a staff member’s telehealth subscription will automatically end their Ensora AI subscription. Previously, Ensora AI appeared cancelled in the application, but remained active. Profile & Settings ​​​​​​​Calendar preference updates now save and apply correctly. Added support for the 686 area code to ensure accurate phone number storage. Support Center Fixed an issue where the support chat widget did not appear after selecting “Chat with Support”. The widget will now display as expected.  Payment Processing Updated error messaging for failed batch payments to be clearer and generic. Fixed rare cases where payments appeared successful without a valid payment method. Payments now post only when truly successful. Corrected an issue where the window for one-time payment links sent to clients included a checkbox to save the payment method, which is not allowed. Version: 3.72 Jump to Section:New Features & Improvements Defect Fixes New Features & ImprovementsUnited States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) v3 Updates The following items have been added per USCDI v3 requirements: A new Disability Status tab has been added to the Vital Signs form. Information concerning a client’s disability status and particular areas of concern may be recorded. These will be reported in the CCD and FHIR API if entered.  Updates have been made to several Code Sets for USCDI compliance. Changes have been made to implement new sections of the CCD and FHIR API. Help Menu Link The Help menu now includes a link to the Ensora Experience Hub. New Employment Option ​​​​​​​A new Authorized User to Contact Ensora Health checkbox is available within Staff > Employment. This setting is included in exports to update internal applications with authorized contact information for an individual organization. The checkbox is enabled by default for the Admin user group, and can be edited as needed for other user groups. Optimized Claims Screen ​​​​​​​Performance enhancements have been applied to the Claims screen. Additional Permission for Client Claims ​​​​​​​Organizations can now restrict user access to view Client Claims in Clients > Account. This permission is enabled by default for all user groups but can be disabled per group under Configuration - Permissions > Client Account Claims Access. Downloading SOAP Note from Inside the SOAP Note is Slower than from the SOAP Note List Page We made a change so that downloading SOAP Notes when viewing the SOAP Note will be faster.  NOTE: The following improvements were made to the Mobile App with the release on 12/17/2025: Please download the app version  20251215.13 to experience these updates.  AppDark Mode is Here!  We are excited to announce that users now have the ability to use the app in either light or dark mode. The app will automatically choose the display mode based on your device settings, or you can manually change the display mode under the User avatar on the Student Notebook screen. Support 16KB Memory Page Size Requirement for Android We have updated the app to support 16KB memory page sizes as required by the Google Play Store. [Back to Top]  Defect Fixes Portal Unable to Run SOAP Notes Report for Dates Prior to 3/1/2023 Users can now run the SOAP Notes report for all dates, including dates prior to 3/1/2023. Error Opening Exported Student Programming We resolved an issue where special characters in a student’s programming were causing issues with the export. Student’s Age on SOAP Note Header Should not Update when the SOAP Note is Edited The student’s age on the SOAP Note header is set based on the session date of the SOAP Note and will not change when the SOAP Note is edited.   AppUnable to Undo Past Target Data from Custom Playlists Users can now undo past target data from inside custom playlists.  [Back to Top]

Jump to Section:New Features & Improvements Defect Fixes New Features & ImprovementsSchedule For those on the new scheduling experience, you can now choose time increments of 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes for your calendar view, giving you more flexibility in how you manage your schedule. Your current settings will automatically adjust to the nearest supported increment.  Clients You can now quickly add new clients or groups from your mobile device using the floating action button at the bottom right of the client list page, making it easier to manage your client list on the go. System We have updated informational tooltips throughout the application to use gender‑neutral language, ensuring a more inclusive experience.   Defect FixesSchedule You can now cancel appointments scheduled more than 60 days in the future directly from the appointment history page, as expected. Clients Past appointments will no longer appear in the Next Appointment column for clients, so you will always see accurate upcoming appointment details. Cases & Notes Addendums can now be signed even if a required field was added to the progress note template after the original note was signed, ensuring smooth documentation workflows. Billing We have resolved an issue that could cause the ledger to appear blank when it included prepays for appointments the staff member did not have permission to view. Group appointments will now correctly allow prepays to be applied, even if they have already been invoiced for some of the group’s clients.  Reports Authorization report totals now include any units or sessions from the overscheduled column, giving you accurate counts for better reporting. Access to the ERA check report has been restored for users not on Managed Billing services, so you can continue to review ERA details without interruption. [Back to Top]

Clients Past appointments will no longer appear in the Next Appointment column for clients, so you will always see accurate upcoming appointment details. Cases & Notes Addendums can now be signed even if a required field was added to the progress note template after the original note was signed, ensuring smooth documentation workflows. Billing We have resolved an issue that could cause the ledger to appear blank when it included prepays for appointments the staff member did not have permission to view. Group appointments will now correctly allow prepays to be applied, even if they have already been invoiced for some of the group’s clients.  Reports Authorization report totals now include any units or sessions from the overscheduled column, giving you accurate counts for better reporting.
