New Features & Improvements
- Client Portal
- New clinical documentation templates have been added to the Intake form section for new accounts created after this release or for those on the Ensora Essentials plan. These include the NICHQ Vanderbilt Assessment Follow-Up Parent Informant and the BDI form. Existing customers already have those forms under the Archived Dynamic Forms tab, which you can copy as an intake form if needed. All accounts will also now see a new template of the DASS-42 form available.
- Dynamic Forms
- A new multi-use case form, the DASS-42, is now available as an optional template under Dynamic Forms. Accounts created before this release will find it in the Archived tab, while new accounts will have it active by default. Similarly, the PIE, DAP, and BIRP progress note templates are archived for existing accounts and active for new accounts created after this release.
- Schedule
- Performance improvements were made to the Agenda page to speed up load time for the page, particularly for larger organizations.
- Clients
- We have added new protections to SMS messaging in the Reminders Log to help prevent malicious message activity. When a temporary limit is reached, a notification will prompt you to wait a few minutes before trying again.
- Billing
- The automatic cancellation policy now auto-populates any amount entered in the seeded canceled service type field when the fee is not waived. Previously, the fee appeared blank even if an amount was entered at the service type level, and would require reentry. The same improvement applies to the canceled, no-show, and late cancel seeded service types for those not using the automatic cancellation policy.
- The workflow for creating invoices from group appointments has been improved. Instead of being redirected to the wrong ledger tab, you will now be redirected to the Recent 30 Days tab only if the invoice’s service date falls within that period; otherwise, you will be sent to the All tab to locate the invoice.
- Organization
- The email verification banner shown to those that are in a free trial will now reflect clearer wording and our updated design system.
- System-wide
- We have updated the email vendor used to send emails to you and your clients. Delivery should continue without interruption, though in rare cases emails may land in spam folders. Please check there if you do not see an expected message.
- Client Portal
- Error messaging has been updated for clients attempting to register on the client portal with an email already in use. Instead of revealing the email status, messaging has been revised to state that an error has occurred and directs the client to contact the organization for assistance.
Defect Fixes
- Schedule
- Resolved an issue preventing scrolling on scheduling and agenda pages for certain mobile devices, operating systems, or browsers. Scrolling now works as expected.
- Fixed a validation error that appeared when a required cancellation fee field was blank, even after switching to a fee-waived status. The error no longer blocks saving.
- Improved appointment dragging on the schedule so start and end times update dynamically as you drag.
- Addressed a problem where filtered-out clients still appeared on the calendar. They now disappear when excluded by filters.
- Corrected an issue where applying a cancellation status to series appointments more than 60 days ahead failed. Status changes now apply correctly.
- Fixed agenda loading for staff with limited client permissions when navigating beyond 60 days. Agendas now load as expected.
- Corrected an issue where appointments created from the Client profile displayed incorrectly when a user’s local time and organization time zones differed causing a 25 hour appointment duration, instead of 1 hour. Durations now display accurately.
- Clients
- Restored household information fields on the client details page for those using the new navigation experience. Previously entered data remains intact.
- Fixed truncated form names in the “More” menu for organizations with many dynamic forms. All forms are now accessible.
- Corrected an issue where referral field values were reset and could not be saved. Existing values are restored, and new entries save properly.
- Cases & Notes
- Made treatment plan fields, including “Add goals,” fully accessible to screen readers.
- Reports
- Ensora payments report PDFs now display only selected fields and columns instead of defaults.
- Adjusted report tables (e.g., payroll data export, invoice aging, detailed attendance legacy) to fit within margins for easier viewing.
- Profile & Settings
- Calendar preference updates now save and apply correctly.
- Added support for the 686 area code to ensure accurate phone number storage.
- Payment Processing
- Updated error messaging for failed batch payments to be clearer and generic.
- Fixed rare cases where payments appeared successful without a valid payment method. Payments now post only when truly successful.
- Corrected an issue where the window for one-time payment links sent to clients included a checkbox to save the payment method, which is not allowed. This option was removed from the one-time payment workflow to prevent confusion.
