Congratulations on implementing TheraNest! These tips focus on the most important setup steps to complete immediately after go-live to ensure smooth clinical and billing workflows.
Prior to exporting your data from your old system
- Ensure all clinical and billing staff are assigned the appropriate licenses and clients before go-live.
- Add and Review upcoming client appointments. Proactively schedule upcoming client appointments in the calendar so sessions are ready in advance.
- Ensure each client has a Client ID generated in their profile. Client IDs are required for billing and helping our teams reference clients securely and accurately.
- Assign staff members to their respective clients to ensure accurate setup and a smooth transition for your team.
- Invite clients to the TheraNest Client Portal so they can complete forms in advance and attend Telehealth sessions.
- Ask clients to add their payment information through the Client Portal to support efficient billing at the time of appointments. If available, you may also enter this information for them.
Set up for smooth Clinical & Billing workflows
- Complete intake/ initial assessment & create a progress note in TheraNest.
For new or first-time TheraNest clients, complete the following steps to ensure their clinical information is up to date. - Bill for Services - After completing a progress note, generate an invoice and submit billing for the session.
