Hello Community,

I’m checking insurance eligibility for a client and keep getting the following error message. I haven’t been able to find an article in the Knowledge Base that explains how to resolve it.

Error:
Error(s) in response, (requestValid = True, reason = ServiceDatesNotWithinProviderPlanEnrollment, Action = PleaseCorrectAndResubmit, PayerId = , Message = ).

The payer setup and the client’s insurance effective date are correct.

Can someone please help me understand what this error means and how to resolve it?

Thank you,
Frances

Hi Frances,

This error typically indicates that eligibility verification has not been fully enrolled or approved for the payer you're checking. Many insurance payers require a separate enrollment before eligibility checks can be processed successfully.

A couple of questions to help narrow it down:

  • Have you successfully run eligibility checks with this payer before?
  • Is this error occurring for all clients with this insurance payer, or only for a specific client?

If you've never been able to run an eligibility check for this payer and the error is affecting all clients with that insurance, it's likely an enrollment issue. In that case, you'll want to navigate to Organization > Claims Service and submit an enrollment request using the Enrollment Wizard.

This Clearinghouse Enrollment Wizard article includes a video walkthrough of the enrollment process and can help guide you through the setup.

If you're already enrolled or continue receiving this error after reviewing your enrollment status, please contact our Support team at theranest.support@ensorahealth.com. They'll be able to review your account and enrollment details more closely to determine what's causing the issue.

I hope this helps! 😊
