Assign AMA CPT License to Staff

Therapists who will be the rendering provider for a client will be assigned a CPT license to ensure compliance with the AMA CPT Code copyright. See FAQ: CPT Codes & American Medical Association Fees for more information.

Assign AMA CPT License

1. Click Staff in the side navigation. 
2. Select the Active tab.

   

    

3. Click the ...(3 dots) under Actions and select Edit details for the staff member.

   

    

4. Use AMA CPT Code Access setting to toggle between Turned On and Turned Off.

   

   NOTE: When you click Turned Off to turn off AMA CPT Code Access, the staff member will still be able to use AMA CPT codes for the remainder of the year, but their license will not automatically renew unless their access is turned back on.

    

5. Click Confirm & Save after selecting the appropriate access.
