New
- Cases & Notes
- You can now share treatment plans through the Client Portal for electronic signatures. Clients and authorized contacts can review and sign treatment plans online, while staff can track signature status, receive completion notifications, and manage access. You can share a treatment plan with multiple recipients, and we're currently supporting one electronic signature per treatment plan.
- Support Center
- You can now access support through the new Ask Ensai support experience, available from the Ask Ensai button in the top navigation bar or by selecting Chat with Support from the Support Center menu. This gives you one place to start a support conversation with a modernized chat experience.
Improvements
- Reports
- Date-filter labels on the updated reports have changed from Date From and Date To to Date Start and Date End, aligning terminology with current design standards and improving consistency across reporting screens.
- Payroll actions in the Payroll by Rendering Provider report have been clarified: status badges replace the previous X and checkmark controls, the Paid column is now labeled Actions, and clearer options are available to mark items as Due or Paid Out. These changes reduce confusion and make marking items as paid more straightforward.
- Organization
- The Appointment Reminders setup pages under Organization have been modernized, with improved consistency, accessibility, and updated navigation.
- System-Wide
- Tables and data tables across the application now use bordered styling by default, adding borders between columns and rows to make large data sets easier to read.
Fixes
- Schedule
- Switching a non-client calendar event to a telehealth appointment could incorrectly trigger a validation error. You can now change the appointment directly to telehealth without first saving it as in-person.
- Editing a recurring non-client event could fail to save updates for organizations where the staff and organization time zones differed. Occurrences within long-running recurring events can now be edited and saved successfully.
- Editing a single occurrence of a recurring non-client event past November 1st could create a duplicate calendar entry when staff and organization time zones differed. Updates now correctly replace the original occurrence, preventing duplicate events.
- Clients
- A success message could appear after updating a client's name even when a blank entry caused the save to fail. The system now shows a validation message stating the name is required before the record is saved.
- Client details such as birth date, additional email, SSN, client flags, client ID number, and age did not always refresh when switching between clients from the recently viewed menu. These fields now update correctly when moving between client records.
- Cases & Notes
- Short-answer dynamic form fields with a data type of None sometimes did not appear in the progress note, which could block saving or submitting a note to a supervisor when those fields were required. These fields now display correctly when a progress note is opened, so values can be entered and saved as expected.
- Diagnostic impressions could disappear from a progress note after the note was unsigned and re-signed. This information now stays visible throughout the signing workflow.
- System-Wide
- Opening certain Actions menus in data tables removed the page scrollbar, which could hide menu options at the bottom of the screen on some display sizes. Actions dropdown options at the bottom of the screen are now accessible as expected.
