New Features & Improvements

  • Cases & Notes
    • Save and other action buttons are once again available at the bottom of case forms, initial assessments, and close case details pages, so you can take action without scrolling back to the top.
    • Multi-line text fields and tables now expand automatically to show more content instead of requiring you to scroll within them. Your expand or collapse preference is also remembered for each field.
  • Organization
    • If you are on a per-client subscription plan, the Ensai Session Assistant subscription page now has a refreshed design and streamlined subscription experience. You can also click Learn More to learn more about Ensai Session Assistant and its features.

Defect Fixes

  • Schedule
    • Updating the time of a single occurrence in a recurring availability block more than 60 days out now displays only the updated time. Previously, refreshing the page showed a duplicate block with both the old and new times.
  • Clients
    • Appointment reminder emails are now sent to a client’s contact when the contact has a valid email address, even if the client doesn’t have an email address on file. Previously, the contact might not receive the reminder.
  • Cases & Notes
    • When a treatment plan goal does not have a Target Completion Date, the AI Case Summary now leaves the date blank instead of displaying 01/01/0001.
    • You can now open clinical documents attached to group sessions as expected. Previously, these documents were inaccessible for some organizations.
  • Staff
    • Staff can now be assigned as supervisors even if their profile contains a leading or trailing space in a free-text field. Previously, this could prevent the supervisor assignment from being completed.
    • Staff with the “Can view, but not modify, all clinical cases” permission can now access and edit client-level custom forms as intended. Previously, this permission could prevent access to these forms.
    • The Authentication code label on the multi-factor authentication screen now displays correctly without overlapping the entry field.
  • Billing
    • You can no longer enter a write-off amount greater than the invoice balance due. An error message now appears if the write-off exceeds the remaining balance.
    • Write-offs dated on or before your Financial Close Date are now blocked with the standard month-end close message, consistent with other transaction types.
  • Dynamic Forms
    • You can now access all options in the Actions menu for the last row of a Dynamic Form. Previously, the menu could be cut off at the bottom of the page.
  • Organization
    • Paused subscriptions can now be resumed as expected. Previously, some attempts to resume a subscription could fail.
    • New pricing plan options are no longer shown while your subscription is paused, since these plans are unavailable for paused subscriptions.
    • You can now create a Service Type that bills one unit for every set number of minutes in a session. Previously, saving this type of Service Type could result in an error.
  • Support Center
    • The support chat widget no longer appears on the login page. After you log in, the Ask Ensai support widget appears as expected.
  • Telehealth
    • Each appointment in a recurring telehealth series now gets its own telehealth link, even after you switch the series to in-person and back to telehealth. Previously, every appointment in the series could share one link, which sometimes kept clients from joining their session.
