New Features & Improvements

  • Client Portal
    • We closed a privacy gap in secure messaging: client contact with portal access could previously see a client’s inbox, not just their own. Now, contacts only ever see their own messages, and this is enforced at the server level for extra security. We also fixed an edge case where a contact who is also a client would lose all access if their client record was archived; those users can now still reach their own profile and messages as expected.
  • Staff
    • We added a new permission that gives admins visibility into clinical information without the ability to make changes. Admins with this permission can view client cases, progress notes, and clinical reports, but actions that would create or modify clinical data (like adding a new case or progress note) are disabled, with tooltips explaining why. Pages that aren’t relevant to read-only access are hidden, and the Missing Progress Notes report no longer shows an action column for these users.
  • Clients
    • We have made several improvements to the Client Details page to make key information easier to identify and access. Balance tiles are now interactive. Users can click directly from these tiles to related areas of the application, including Client Balance Due, Insurance Balance Due, and Primary or Secondary Insurance details, helping streamline navigation and everyday workflows.
  • Profile & Settings
    • We rebuilt the profile photo upload experience on the Details page as part of ongoing platform modernization instead of it being in a separate tab. Users can upload, replace, or remove their profile photo on the same page where they can edit their profile information.
  • Schedule
    • Improved icon clarity in the appointment creation flow by replacing complex icons with simpler, more recognizable ones for the selection cards when choosing between in person and telehealth appointments.
    • We have improved the way approved SMS reminder campaigns are managed when appointment reminders are temporarily disabled. Previously approved campaign information is now retained and automatically restored when reminders are re-enabled, eliminating the need to recreate and resubmit campaigns for approval. This enhancement reduces administrative effort, helps maintain continuity, and makes it easier to resume appointment reminders when needed.
  • Billing
    • We refreshed the Export Transactions page with a modern design and improved interface elements, making it easier to navigate and use.
    • We updated the claims service enrollment table by expanding the table layout to display more information at a glance. We have also added a new Clearinghouse column, making it easier to view and manage configurations for organizations using multiple clearinghouses.
    • We updated the claim scrub validation message shown during claim error checks to provide clearer, more generic guidance. Users will now see the message “Payer ID is invalid. Click here to fix it.”, making the error easier to understand regardless of the clearinghouse being used.
  • Organization
    • We improved account confirmation emails when signing up for a trial to make them clearer.
    • Fixed layout issues when multiple banners appeared on the subscription page without spacing in certain scenarios. Now spacing follows design standards when several banners show on this page.
  • Telehealth
    • We updated appointment messaging for practices that do not subscribe to telehealth services but use telehealth-related scheduling functionality. We removed or refined messaging that was no longer relevant to provide a clearer experience and reduce confusion when viewing and managing appointments.

Defect Fixes

  • Schedule
    • We resolved an issue where editing recurring appointments more than 60 days in the future failed and timed out when updating the client field. You can now update those appointment details successfully.
    • We resolved a display issue in the “Reschedule to” appointment modal where a field overlapped another element, making it difficult to read or interact with. The modal now displays correctly.
    • We resolved an issue that could cause appointment notification emails to be sent to additional users associated with a client. Appointment-related emails are now delivered only to the intended recipients—the assigned Appointment Staff member and the client—helping reduce unnecessary notifications and ensuring communications are sent as expected.
    • We improved and validated scheduling behavior for providers in Arizona time zones. These updates help ensure availability is interpreted correctly across daylight saving time changes, providing more consistent scheduling and validation for appointments created through partner integrations and APIs.
  • Clients
    • We restored the ability to insert line breaks in longer text fields within client additional details by pressing Enter.
  • Billing
    • We resolved an issue that caused the AED currency symbol to display incorrectly when printing ledger documents. The AED symbol now displays correctly instead of appearing as a blank box.
    • We resolved an issue that could prevent a client ledger from loading when a prepayment was linked to an appointment that was later deleted. Prepayments associated with deleted appointments are now automatically converted to unapplied payments, ensuring client ledgers load correctly and payment records remain accurate. It is also no longer necessary to remove the prepay link when deleting the appointment.
  • Organization
    • We resolved an issue where selecting an individual or group telehealth plan was not retained when updating a plan in certain scenarios. Selected plans and pricing now remain aligned, ensuring the correct telehealth plan is retained.
  • Reports
    • We improved the performance of the Payment Report, reducing load times across a wide range of date ranges. Reports that previously took several minutes to generate now return results much faster, helping users access payment data more efficiently and improving the overall reporting experience.
