The mobile app allows prescribers to access their patients' pending prescriptions and transmit those prescriptions to pharmacies. Using the mobile app, prescribers can view requests for prescription renewals and prescriptions that have been queued by a prescriber or clinical staff. If the information on the prescription is complete, prescribers will be able to send those prescriptions to a patient pharmacy.
The mobile app is configured to address prescriptions with complete information that are queued and ready to be sent to a pharmacy. If a pending prescription is missing information or if a pharmacy has not already been selected, it will display as a pending prescription in the app, but it will not be available for transmission to a pharmacy. New prescriptions and prescription information can not be added from the mobile app. If a prescription requires additional information or editing, the prescriber must access the system via the EHR to make those changes.
