PERMISSIONS REQUIRED: You need the Insights permission to use these functions.

Go to Insights → Legacy → Reports to access Legacy Insights reports, or to Insights → New → Pre-Built Reports /Clinic Reports/My Reports to access New Insights reports.
Click a category to view your clinic reports. Most categories are created by saving a report with that category name, but there are two special categories at the top:
- The All category includes all available saved reports, including those that come with the system.
- The My Clinic category includes all of the reports that were added by someone at your clinic.
Create a Report
- In the lower right, click the + Report button.
- Select a source, which determines the type of information that can be included.
- Select the information to include.
- Click the Preview button to view the report, or the Save button to save it to the list.
Edit a Report
You can edit a saved report's basic information, such as the name and category.
Restrictions: You can only edit reports that have been added by someone at your clinic.
- To the right of the report, click the Edit Report icon
.
- Once you've made changes, click the Save Report button.
Edit a Report's Columns & Filters
You can configure a saved report's settings, such as which fields are included.
Restrictions: You can only configure reports that have been added by someone at your clinic.
- To the right of the report, click the Edit Columns & Filters icon
.
- Once you've made changes, click the Save Columns & Filters button.
View a Report's Description
To view a report's description, click the View Information icon to the right of a report. The icon will be disabled if there is no description to view.
Pin a Report to Your Dashboard
You can pin a report to your dashboard for easy access to it. The pin icon will be orange if the report is already on your dashboard.
- To the right of a report, click the Pin to Dashboard icon

- Click the Pin Report button.
View or Download a Report
- Click a report to open it.
- If you're viewing a chart, click the View Data button to view the table.
- In the lower right, click the Download button.
About the Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name of the report. |
| Category | Select a category for the report, or type in a new category. The report will appear in this category in the list of reports. |
| Type | Indicates whether the data will be displayed in a table or a chart. |
| Summary | The purpose of the report that is displayed in the list of reports or on the dashboard. |
| Description | An optional description of any additional information. |
| Limit | Indicates whether the report will include all results or stop at the first X results. The default option will include all results in the report. |
