I already have a Stripe account that I currently use for payments through Ensora, but I’d also like to add a Stripe payment option directly on my private website so clients can pay me there as well.

How can I set that up? Specifically, how do I add a Stripe link or payment button to my website so that clients can pay me directly — and how does the payout timing work compared to Square?

Hi @Oliver Olwyn, thanks for posting in the Community! Bear with me, there’s a bit of a long answer to your questions here.

Within the Ensora Payments platform, there is no way to generate an external payment link. You could create a separate account solely with Stripe and generate a link that way, but you would have to manually track those payments as they would not reconcile with your appointments and clients in your Ensora platform. If you do opt to go that route, Stripe Support can assist you with a button generation and link setup.

For payouts, you can expect to receive funds in your bank account two business days after a payment has been processed by Stripe. Most banks deposit payouts into your bank account as soon as they receive them, though some may take a few extra days to make them available. This time frame is pretty close to standard for most payout processors although some allow you to get instant transfers if you pay a fee. This is what I found for Square payouts if you want to compare.

You can review payouts and payout details for completed, upcoming and recent payouts in the Stripe Dashboard. Click on a payout from the payout list to see the related transactions. You can use this to reconcile with your bank deposits.

The Ensora Payments Report shows all client payments made in the system that are tied to Payment Processing transactions using Ensora Payments with Stripe.
