I have several claims for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama all with the same rejection code, REJECTION: Status Details - Category Code: (A4) The claim/encounter can not be found in the adjudication system., Status: Entity not found., Entity: BillingProvider (85).

I have contacted the insurance company but the claims are not in their system.   

My support cases keep getting closed because when I reply to the email it comes back saying it cannot be delivered. 

How can I get some guidance for correcting this rejection reason ?

Hi ​@Keri, I’m so sorry that you’re having that issue with our support team. Let’s take another route here and instead of having you reply to our support team via email, let’s navigate the correspondence directly in our Support Hub. In case you haven’t accessed it before, here is an article with instructions on how to use this platform to get to our Support Hub.
 

 

If any of your existing cases are still open, you can update and respond to them directly through that portal without going through the email route. If any of your cases don’t appear there, you can also open a new case and again respond directly to our team through that Hub, bypassing the email issue.
