This article will explain how to run eligibility from the Clients Module as you are adding a client record or a client's insurance information.

 

Requirements

In order to run eligibility for PMAP's, the client must have a Minnesota Medical Assistance Program.

  1. Go to the Clients module.
  2. Click on the Payers tab.
  3. Click on the Enrollment sub-tab.
  4. Verify that a Minnesota Medical Assistance Program is selected.

NOTE: You can require this field at the time of data entry by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Payers module.
  2. Double-click to open the PMAP payer.
  3. Click on the Payer Rules tab.
  4. Locate the fields called Require PMAP programs for each client and set this field to YES.

Checking Eligibility

  1. Go to the Clients module.
  2. Click on the Payers tab.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Enrollment sub-tab and click on the check eligibility link.
    • A new window will open with the Eligibility Inquiry Results.

Note: Access to the Payers tab is permission-based. If you do not see this tab, you will need to ask a Champion from your agency to give you permission.

Eligibility Log

Procentive keeps a log of Eligibility checks. To view the log:

  1. Go to the Clients module.
  2. Click on the Payers tab.
  3. Click on the Eligibility Dates sub-tab.
  4. Click on the log of eligibility checks link.
    • A new window will open with a log.
  5. Click on the data link to open the Eligibility Inquiry Results.
