💬 Q&A Recap
We did have some questions that were asked which our team was unable to cover due to time. Those questions have been listed below, along with answers from our experts.
NOTE: We were excited to receive a number of Fusion feature suggestions from all webinar participants. Please be assured that all feature requests were recorded in an internal document and have been shared with our product teams for further analysis. Thank you for all of your input!
1. Is there an estimated timeline when inbound faxing would be available and a price estimate?
Inbound faxing is planned to be available in February 2026 and pricing will be dependent on your Fusion subscription plan. For legacy plans (Basic/Billing/Advanced), pricing will be $10 per inbound fax number per month, plus $.09 per page. For Advanced, pricing will be $10 per inbound fax number per month, your first 30 pages will be included, and then pages 31+ will be $.09 per page. For Premier, unlimited inbound faxing will be included (subject to Fair Use Policy).
2. Is there an estimated time line that proposed changes will be rolled out/available and what the fee increases will be?
The new features and functionality we reviewed during the Fusion Forum will be released throughout 2026 and beyond. While we don't have prices established today, some features will be included in your base subscription while others will be add-ons with a separate associated cost.
3. What is the timeline for integrating AI for billing and clinical documentation? Also, will that be included in current plan or is it going to be an additional tiered payment?
AI Session Assistant is planned to be released in February of 2026. It will be an additional add-on fee per user with two tiers available; a limited tier including 60 generated notes & 42 hours of recorded audio per user, per month and an unlimited tier (subject to Fair User Policy).
4. Can we separate all Financial (Account) Information to a separate tab or limit role accessibility?
It sounds like you are asking for Financial Admin related items and financial insights reporting to be separated in a way that you can provide Admin to some but keep the financial access more granular. That would be something we could certainly consider.
5. Can you explain how faxing will work? Can we only fax out reports or will we be able to fax out other things like RX format for docs to sign on our letterhead?
At this time, Fusion's outbound faxing functionality does not allow for standalone documents to be transmitted, however we are reviewing enhancements to this functionality.
6. Is there a default setting that would make only current goals visible on a discharge summary?
Goal on a discharge summary, depending on the time frame you choose to show goals from, will show any goal that has had a data point entered in that time period. So if you do past 90 days or since last assessment, etc. if you have entered at least one data point within that timeline it will populate.
7. If we use the attachment button, and someone in admin selects the original document, are both automatically sent as one?
When you choose to send a document, whether email or fax, if there are attachments and you select to include them, all documents attached to that note or assessment will send along with it.
8. Will you be adding a CSM to manage new leads and email marketing? and HEP programs to send through the EMR?
We will be adding integrations with HEP vendors during 2026 that will enable you to send HEP progams to your patients. Regarding CSM, it is not on our immediate roadmap, however it is something we can consider for the future.
9. Is there already a way to run an insight report on patients sorted by therapist?
Since we do not have what some would consider a 'caseload' the closest we have in insights to that would be an appointments list that could be filtered by therapist. What some clinics do is take an appointments list over the past 30/60/90 days, whatever time you want to consider active, and then export it to excel to be able to pair it down to one line per patient instead of having all of the lines.
10. Is there a way to be able to create an invoice for all services being paid for and not just the ones that have a balance after the claim is processed?
There is not currently a way to include charges from claims that have not yet been finalized because nothing would have been pushed to the patient billing account yet and we do not have a way to know what the payer will adjudicate until that info reaches the system.
