Our practice uses Ensora Rehab Therapy (formerly Fusion) to manage the practice, scheduling and billing for OT/ST/ABA therapy; and  Ensora Data Collection (Catalyst). Scheduling ABA Therapy in Rehab Suite is proving to be a challenge as we grow the program, due to nuances such as supervision. Is anyone using Rehab with ABA and Catalyst together, even though we’ve been told they don’t integrate completely? If so, would love to know how it’s working, and if you are satisfied.

@traceys thanks so much for raising this—totally hear you on the complexity as your program scales, especially around supervision and how it shows up in scheduling, staffing, and billing.

Some general things we have seen other programs do as of today are:

  1. Using Rehab as system-of-record for scheduling & billing; Catalyst for clinical data.

  2. Setting clear appointment types + staffing rules for supervision.

    • Tag/color-code and, where available, add the supervisor as a secondary resource on supervision events so capacity and overlaps are visible.

  3. Setting authorization & billing safeguards

COMMUNITY MEMBERS - If you are using both today, would you share:

  • How you’re handling supervision on the schedule (secondary resource vs. separate event)

  • Your appointment type and tag structure

  • Any payor-specific rules you’ve encoded into scheduling or posting (no PHI—just the workflow)

  • What you’re using for the weekly reconciliation between scheduled units and documented units

Either way—thanks for kicking this off @traceys . The more patterns we collect here, the faster we can help everyone run ABA + supervision smoothly with Rehab and Catalyst.
