Is there a standard or ideal way to set up psychologists in the system? Is there a difference between psychologist and other clinicians (therapists)? Also, can psychologists have different documents in their ‘standard’ documents compared to other clinicians?

Hi @dwight1717 , thanks for posting!

Theranest does not require a unique setup for psychologists compared to other clinicians. All providers—whether psychologists, therapists, or other roles—are typically added as staff with their credentials and permissions configured according to your organization’s needs.

Functionally, there’s no built-in distinction beyond what you define in staff roles and permissions. You can label credentials and specialties for clarity, but workflows remain the same.

You can customize Dynamic Forms, which would allow you to build Client, Case, Organization and Progress Note Forms. Most forms are generally available to anyone who can see clients, however, Progress Note Forms can be restricted to specific Therapists based on their access to the client. This is a good overview of all the Dynamic Forms we offer in the platform.
