Hello everyone!

Can someone point me to the guidance on how the new Contact Network actually functions for the Appointment Reminders? Specifically for Parents (who are active clients) and whose children (are active clients). How do the appointment reminders function on their end?

Additionally - when a Parent is active with one therapist, and their child is active with another therapist, and the “Reminders Log” is used for communications - it uses the one phone number for both thereby sending notifications to both Therapists.

If the answer to that is to NOT put a phone number in the minor client’s account - then we will have no way to know if the reminder goes out as there does not seem to be an “automated” function that appears on the agenda to confirm or cancel from the reminders sent through the Contact Network. - Unless I’m missing something here?

Thanks in advance for any guidance or education provided here.

P.s. No how idea to create actual tags needed for this topic...”Appointment Reminders”  & “Contact Network”.

@JessTillery thank you so much for posting in the community!

NOTE: This feature is in Beta right now so it’s a limited set of trial users that have access to the Client Contact Network at this time.

Regarding appointment reminders, this article contains the information we have at this time. https://support.ensorahealth.com/s/article/Reminders-for-Contacts-Ensora-Mental-Health-TheraNest. That being said, When you turn on appointment reminders for client contacts, automated notifications are sent directly to those contacts when the client has an upcoming appointment. These reminders can be set up for any contact within a client’s network and can be delivered via email, text message, or phone call.

For the Reminders Log piece that you mentioned, if only one mobile number is available, the reminders should appear in the reminders log for the client with the number in their details. If the same mobile number is saved in both client profiles, the reminders should be sent to both clients and appear in both reminders logs if both clients are entered as contacts for the other, with reminders enabled. It depends on how you have the individual clients and contact networks set up.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for replying to my post, that certainly helps to know that we are in a trial version.

The guidance provided on the support site is a bit conflicting with what you have described here, as it appears to be guidance for a feature that is fully functional whereas our user experience seems to be limited.

The guidance I’m referring to is here below.
We have many parents + minors as clients and we are getting reports that the parent’s are NOT able to switch between profiles when we add them to the contact network.

Could this be because they are trying to do this on their phone or tablet and not a desktop computer?
