As AI becomes more common, what will matter most for keeping therapy human?

AI already supports many therapists’ daily work—but how we use it matters. In our Future of Therapy report, clinicians emphasized protecting the “human” side of care. What do you think?

I voted for Strong privacy & data protection because if clients don’t feel safe, nothing else we do with AI really matters. So much of our work depends on trust, and even the perception that their notes or data might be misused could keep people from being honest—or from seeking care at all. For me, any AI use has to start with rock-solid safeguards and clear limits on what happens to client information.
