You can access documents that were uploaded via the client portal under Client Details in the Portal Uploads folder. The Portal Uploads folder displays a list of documents uploaded via the patient portal, file details, and the name of the portal user that uploaded each document. From here, you can open, download, rename, and delete documents uploaded by portal users.
You can set up email and alert notifications for client portal document uploads when you set your preferences. See Set Your General Preferences for more information.
A clinic admin must allow document uploads before clients are able to upload documents in the client portal. See Allow Document Uploads for more information.
- Click Clients in the side menu, then select a client.
- Click Client Details.
- Click the General Documents tab.
- Click the Portal Uploads file folder.
NOTE: This folder can not be copied or removed. If you do not see the Portal Uploads folder, it means that no documents have been uploaded from the portal for that client.
TIP: Click the View icon to switch to List View or Icon View.
- Right Click on the Name of a file to Open, Download, Rename or Delete the document.
NOTE: If you Delete a document, the file is also deleted from the client portal and is no longer visible to the client portal user. If you Rename a document, the file name is also updated for the client or contact who uploaded the document.
