PERMISSIONS REQUIRED: You need the Admin permission to allow prepayments.
When you allow prepayments for appointments, your clinic can accept client payments for appointments in advance. When you Process or Record a Prepayment for an Appointment, you mark the payment as a prepay and select the appointment that it will be applied to. Then, once the appointment takes place and an invoice is generated, the client's prepayment will be automatically applied to the invoice for the appointment.
If your clinic is using Ensora Payments to process credit cards, you can also Require Prepayment for Telehealth Appointments.
- Click the Organization tab.
- Select Settings.
- Click the Allow prepays on appointments checkbox on the Profile tab.
- Click Save Changes.
