Scheduled Appointments
After a teletherapy appointment is created on the calendar, the patient's primary contact and any contacts that are set to receive email appointment reminders will receive an email. The email will include information about the appointment and a button to join the teletherapy session. If multiple appointments were made as part of a series, the button is only for the first appointment.
Edited Appointments
The patient's primary contact and any contacts set to receive appointment reminder emails will receive an email with a new session link if any of the following changes have been made to an appointment:
- An existing appointment has been changed from a non-teletherapy appointment to a teletherapy appointment.
- A patient is added to a teletherapy appointment.
- The start time of the appointment has been changed.
- The date of the appointment has been changed.
Appointment Reminders
You can set up email reminders for your patients and their contacts to make sure they remember appointments. When reminders are turned on, the contact will receive a reminder about 24 hours before a scheduled appointment.
Appointment Status: If an appointment's status has already been changed to "Canceled", "No Show", or "Checked-In", the reminder for that appointment will not be sent.
Email Reminders
Emailed appointment reminders will include a button to join the teletherapy session, which can be joined 10 minutes prior to the start time of the appointment.
Text Reminders
Text reminders will indicate that the appointment is an online appointment. The link to join a teletherapy session is not included in text reminders.
