After a Target has been mastered, it can be assigned to Maintenance. In Maintenance, you can select an interval on which to assess the Target to ensure that the student maintains the skill. Maintenance levels and intervals are defined at the organization level. Based on these levels, you can define how a specific student's Targets will move through the variously defined Maintenance Levels.

IMPORTANT: In order to use Maintenance Levels, you first need to create them in the Administration tab for the Organization. See Maintenance Levels: Create, Edit, Delete or Run for more information.

Jump to Section:

Access the Maintenance Criteria subtab from the Setup Tab in the Students Section.

Set Maintenance Criteria Initial Level

Maintenance Criteria always needs an initial Maintenance level. By default, Mastered Targets will be set to Close Target and no maintenance will run.

  1. Targets Mastered In Treatment Go To - Where In Treatment Targets that meet Mastery Criteria will be moved to.
  2. Targets Mastered in Baseline Go To - Where Baseline Targets that meet Mastery Criteria will be moved to.

Promotion/Demotion Triggers

Maintenance Level

What does it mean?

Daily Maintenance Promotion (Correct Probes) exp. 5/5 Will appear in Daily Maintenance for 5 trials/probes (could be 1 trial per day OR you could have all 5 trials in 1 day. The system will only look for correct probes in a row). Would need to be correct 5 trials in a row before it could be promoted.
Demotion (Incorrect) exp. 3/3 Will appear in Daily Maintenance for 3 trials/probes (could be 1 trial per day OR you could have all 3 trials in 1 day. The system will only look for correct probes in a row). Would need to be incorrect 3 trials in a row before it would be demoted.
Weekly Maintenance Promotion (Correct Probes) Will appear Weekly for the number of specified probes/trials once a week. Would need to be correct for the number of probes/trials in a row (on that 1 weekly trial) before it could be promoted.
Demotion (Incorrect) Will appear Weekly for the number of specified probes/trials once a week. Would need to be incorrect for the number of probes/trials in a row (on that 1 weekly trial) before it could be demoted.
