This article will walk you through the steps to create a Preference Assessment in the Ensora Data Collection Portal for use in the Data Collection App.
Note: Use of the Preference Assessment feature is available in tablets only, not on phones.
Create a Preference Assessment
In order to collect data on the app, users must first create a Preference Assessment in the Student Portal.
Access the Preference Assessment subtab from the Assessments tab in the Student Section.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Setup New Preference Assessment.
- Enter Preference Information:

- Allow Settings Override - Enabling will allow users to change the above settings directly from the app.
- Select Preference Items - Click in the field to select desired Preference items. If an item is not listed. Start typing in the word such as "Test" and select the Add Option command.
3. Click Save.
NOTE: The new Assessment will display in the list of active Assessments on both the portal and the app.
