To meet the new OASAS guidelines for MAT Medicaid billing, a new billing profile has been added. This profile will help in collecting the maximum reimbursement rate for bundling services, including take-home medication bottles, whether in person or via telehealth.
NOTE: If you are setting up a billing profile for the first time, please reach out to your Project Manager for assistance.
Follow these steps to set up this billing profile:
- Go to Setup > Medication Billing Profiles.
- In the Profile Name field, enter a name to best describe this billing profile.
- From the Profile Config drop-down menu, select OASASMedicaid2022.
- Enter a Medication, Visit Type, Medication Procedure and Take Home Procedure for every medication that will be billed.
- Click Save.
