You have the ability to conduct Group Sessions using thera-LINK. You could create a session for multiple Clients (i.e. a Family, Couple, or Group Therapy Session), or a session that has one Client and multiple Providers.
For an optimal Group Session experience, we don't recommend that you invite more than eight participants.
Scheduling a Group Session is very similar to scheduling an Individual Session.
Schedule Group Session
Important: All Clients must accept your thera-LINK invitation and create their account before you can schedule an online Telehealth Appointment with them.
- Click Scheduling in left menu.
- Click Create Appointment button.
- Toggle on if this is an All Day Appointment or a Recurring Appointment.
- Select Appointment Type.
Note: If our Practice does not use Appointment Types, this field will not display.
- Enter an Appointment Title.
- Select Appointment Start and End time.
- For Telehealth Session, leave Online toggle ON.
- Select ALL Session Invitees. This is where you will add all members of the Group to the Appointment.
- Click Save and Appointment will display on your Calendar and a Scheduled Appointment Notification will be sent to all participants.
- If payment is required, enter the name of each client that will be required to pay in the PAYERS section, along with their payment amount (you may want only one member of a couple or family to pay, or you may want every member of a group to pay. You can set different amounts per payer as well).
- Select the start time and end time.
- Choose the participants you want to invite.
