The transaction report summarizes CHARGES, PAYMENTS and ADJUSTMENTS posted in a specific time frame. 

 

The TRANSACTION SUMMARY report is found under REPORTS>MANAGEMENT>TRANSACTION SUMMARY

Once the user has selected the menu option, the screen to the right will display. The user enters in the desired date range. The transactions listed on the report must have a general ledger date that falls between the date range entered to display on the report.

The user has the option to exclude UNBILLED REVENUE by un-checking the INCLUDE UNBILLED REVENUE box.

The two check boxes labeled USE CURRENT F/C (Financial Class) ASSIGMENTS and USE CURRENT PGM (Program) ASSIGMENTS pull this information from the patients admit screen. If these two boxes are not checked, the F/C and Program pull from the patients claim record.

The report only displays the option(s) selected in the SUBTOTAL BY combo box.  For example, if PROGRAM and PAYOR are selected, financial class, attending physician or rendering physician will not print on the report.

The Transaction Summary report will look something like the report displayed below. This sample report was Sub Totaled by Program and Payor.
