The system now provides the option to add designated UR denial notes.
To Access the UR Denial Notes Function, Choose Posting>Utilization Review>PA and Unit Authorizations
From the patients record, select MoreInfo>U/R Denial Notes
Begin typing the U/R Denial Note. When done with the note, press Commit/F1 to save the note. Save and exit the patients account. These notes will print on the DENIAL REPORT
*******Note: Only the first 119 characters of the note will display on the Denials Report Log*********
To access the Denial report, choose REPORTS>Utilization Review>Denials.
The standard user interface for producing the Denials report has not changed. The only difference is there is a new column on the report that captures the U/R Denial Note.
Displayed below, you can see the report contains the first 119 characters of the U/R Denial note that was entered in the U/R Denial Note Field.
