The Power BI File and CSV Data Files have now been downloaded and opened. However, they have not been linked together.
NOTE: This process is a one-time setup that is only required if the Power BI File is not linked to the CSV Data Files.
- In Power BI 🡪 select the Edit Queries button (not the drop down).
- This will open a new window titled Query Editor.
- There will be errors the first time you open this.
- Select FolderPath located on the left-hand side of the window.
- In the Current Value text box replace what is there with the file path of the previously created folder.
- For example, folder name is Power BI, file path in C:\Power BI.

NOTE: The errors will not disappear until you add \ (above the enter key) at the end of the file path.

- For example, folder name is Power BI, file path in C:\Power BI.
- Click the Close & Apply button (not the drop down).
- It will automatically apply the updated CSV Data Files.
