Jump to Section: New Features & Improvements Defect Fixes  NOTE: These changes go into effect during the evening on the date specified in the article title (ie Wednesday night); most users will see these items the following day (ie Thursday morning).   New Features & Improvements Location Pharmacy List The Location Name is now displayed on the Location Pharmacy List. Medication List Icons All prescriptions sent electronically, including renewals and change response medications, will now show the pill bottle eRx   icon on the Pending, Active, and Previous Medications list. Compound Validation Compounds are now required to have at least one ingredient. Printed Prescriptions The patient's mobile phone number is now preferred over the home number on printed prescriptions. The Automatically Print Prescriptions option is now supported for those EHRs using the Route destination. Defect Fixes Printing enhancements The date is now properly updated on new prints of active medications. This corrects a bug that could cause the original prescription date to be displayed. Report Missing Rx Corrected a bug that could prevent the Report Missing Rx button from working properly. Alerts Messaging Corrected an issue that caused the EPCS not enabled alert to briefly display while the Transmit page loaded. Record Rx Corrected a bug that could prevent users from being able to Record medications. [Back to Top]

Jump to Section: New Features & Improvements Defect Fixes  New Features & ImprovementsMark Claims for External Submission If you're connected to one of our partnered clearinghouses, you can now mark a claim for External Submission directly from the Claims page. This feature helps you manually track statuses and financials for paper claims, submissions to external payer portals, or other situations where the claim doesn't go through the integrated clearinghouse. See Submit External Claims for more information.  Client Portal A new client notification setting was added under Client Portal settings called “Changes Staff on an Appointment”, which will send an email to the client when an assigned staff is updated on an appointment if the notification is enabled. If the “Reschedules an Appointment” notification is enabled for your account, this new notification will also be enabled by default but can be disabled if needed. Kept Appointments A validation has been added when scheduling to prevent appointments with a future date from being updated to a status of “Kept” to aid in compliance requirements. Calendar Updates Google Calendar sync can now be initiated from the action button when viewing the calendar on a mobile device. Using your browser's back button will return you to the previous calendar view, including any date filters you applied. Service Time Change to Start/End Time The Service Time field on a progress note has been replaced by two new fields to indicate the start and end time of a session. Sign & Schedule Next Appointment When applying a signature to a clinical document, you can now sign and schedule the next appointment, which will launch the appointment modal after your signature is applied. Signature Page Navigation Update When viewing the signature page of a progress note, the Back button will allow you to navigate to the progress note, all progress notes, the Missing Progress Notes report, or your default Schedule view. New Progress Note Template Field A new Progress note template field allows you to switch templates from within the progress note. Upload Size Increase The individual file size for uploading documents has been increased to 50MB. The file size increase is applicable to a client's general documents and clinical documents. Catalyst Integration Addendums that are added in Catalyst will now show as an available update on the Catalyst Notes page. When accepting the Addendum update this will be added to the bottom of the Catalyst SOAP Note PDF in WebABA. If you are integrated with Catalyst, additional messaging has been added to the confirmation modal when archiving a WebABA client to give direction on what should be done within Catalyst if you also wish to remove the Catalyst student license. Staff Permissions Update Staff with the Administration or the Organization Administration permission can now be assigned a supervisor to approve or cosign clinical documentation. Billing Automation Rule The Progress note signed Billing Automation rule for invoice creation, invoice processing, and claim submission has been updated to Progress note signed by provider and now accounts for the supervisory workflow. If a progress note has been submitted to a supervisor to approve or cosign, the progress note will not be considered signed until the supervisee has signed the note. Diagnosis Codes for Invoices/Claims A new logic has been implemented that pulls diagnosis codes from the progress note or case onto invoices and claims. Dynamic Forms Expanding Text Boxes Paragraph fields on a client, case, progress note, or intake form now automatically expand as you type, letting you view all entered text without scrolling. New Organization Setting for Schedule Optimization  Organizations using the new scheduling experience now have a setting under Organization → Cancellation Policy to hide the Fee field and Waive fee checkbox when editing an appointment status.   Defect FixesSchedule Corrected an issue where some appointments where the status was manually changed (i.e. set to canceled, late cancel, etc.), it would then change back to “Kept” when the automatic “Kept” feature was used. This has been fixed so that now the status that was manually changed will remain for the appointment when the automatic “Kept” feature is also used.  Corrected an issue where the bulk edit appointment page was not loading properly when filters were selected. Now these filters can be used to properly display data from this page. Corrected an issue where the application was breaking when trying to create a group appointment from the group appointment page. Now group appointments can be created from this page as expected. Columns are now correctly aligned when printing the calendar view. Cases & Notes Corrected an issue where some progress notes couldn't be signed or submitted due to errors related to diagnosis codes, even though diagnosis codes were present on the initial assessment or an addendum. Billing Corrected an issue where pagination from one client's ledger was retained when navigating to another client's ledger instead of starting over at page 1. This has been fixed so that the table grid of the ledger will be reset to page 1 when going to another client's ledger. Corrected an issue where automatic invoice creation, automatic invoice processing, and automatic claim submission were considering a progress note signed if just a client signature was applied. Reports Performance improvements were made to the Detailed Attendance Report (Beta) to make running the report quicker for organizations that have larger data sets. Corrected an issue where the Accounts Receivable report was displaying no results. This has been fixed so that this report will load as expected. Corrected an issue where the Attendance by Service Type report was not returning results when adjusting the filters. Now these filters can be used to display data on this report properly. Client Portal Email Address Message Change A generic message — “An error occurred when creating your account”—will now appear if a client tries to create an account from your Client Portal using an email address already linked to an existing client in your practice.   Defect FixesSchedule Corrected an issue where some appointments where the status was manually changed (i.e. set to canceled, late cancel, etc.), it would then change back to “Kept” when the automatic “Kept” feature was used. Jump to Section: New Features & Improvements Defect Fixes  New Features & Improvements Send Additional Appointment Reminders An admin can now customize how many email or text message appointment reminders to send, plus control the timing of those reminders!  Learn More:  Set Up Appointment Reminders for the Clinic.  Set Up Appointment Reminders for a Patient.   Set Up   To configure your clinic’s appointment reminders, go to Admin → Advanced Setup → Appointment Reminders. If your clinic has access to both email and text reminders, you’ll have two reminders by default: Email - 1 day before Text - 1 day before   These will be active if your clinic previously had email / text reminders turned on, or inactive if they were turned off.   Click an existing reminder to modify it or click the + Appointment Reminder button in the lower right to add an additional reminder. You can choose whether the reminder is sent by email or text and how many days or hours before an appointment it should be sent.   Deactivate or delete all appointment reminders of a certain type to completely turn off that type of appointment reminder for your clinic.   Notes No more than two reminders of the same type can be sent for an appointment within one 24 hour period. You may want to check your subscription in Admin → Fusion Billing Plan to confirm how you are charged for text message appointment reminders before activating or adding additional text message reminders. The email sent for reminders is the same as before, but the text message now includes the month and date instead of just the day of week of the appointment.   Test Message Quiet Hours Appointment reminders sent by text message now follow quiet hours from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM in your clinic’s time zone. If a text message reminder would be sent during that time, it will now be sent before quiet hours begin, between 7:00 PM and 7:59 PM. Navigate to Claim from Invoice When an invoice includes a line that came from a claim, you can now easily view that claim by clicking the View Claim  icon to the right of the invoice line.  Learn More: Navigate to Claim from Invoice   Defect Fixes Can’t save visit signatures Resolved an issue that prevented the Save button from being used when trying to get a visit signature on mobile. Sent date on intake forms shows future date Intake forms sent to portal users after 7:00 PM Eastern will now show the date it was sent instead of the following day. Prevent invalid birthdate in patient import Birthdates with year “0000” will now be flagged as an error when importing patients into Fusion. [Back to Top]

Any changes or additions in skipped versions are included in the next public release. REMINDER: To schedule an update to the latest version, please contact Support to submit a request.  Version 3.66  New Features & ImprovementsNew 837P Options A new option for the 837 Professional (837P), "Exclude CCBHC Claims until TPL is complete" has been added. When selected, this option will restrict all services with a Service Definition Category of "CCBHC-PPS1", "CCBHC-PPS2", and "CCBHC Shadow Claim" from being billed if there is an associated CCBHC Shadow Claim that has charge for a prior payer. CCBHC billing for those services will be held back while the charge(s) for the prior payer have a Status of Active, Outgoing, Working, or Denied. Once the Charge Status for the prior payer has been set to Done, and the CCBHC Payer charge has been created, billing for the CCBHC services will occur in the next billing run. A new option for the 837 Professional (837P), "Report $0 for CCBHC Shadow Claims", has been added. When selected, all services with a Service Definition Category of "CCBHC Shadow Claim" will be reported with a Charge amount of $0. New Add Defined List Record Option In Configuration - Setup > Defined Lists, users can now add new records to defined lists via a new +Add Defined List Record option. A Add Defined List Record modal window will open for users to input values when adding a new defined list record. If all values (excluding StartDate/EndDate) are blank, a message will appear: "Record must contain at least one value (excluding StartDate/EndDate)". The Save button will be disabled is all non-Start/End date values are blank. Users cannot save a record with only an End Date or only a Start Date. For existing records, a caution icon will appear next to any defined list record with missing or invalid data. Hovering over the icon will display the message: "This defined list record has missing or invalid data." Records with missing information will default to the top of the list for easy identification. This update enhances the user experience by ensuring data integrity and providing clear guidance on required fields. New AHC-HRSN Screening Tool Form A new form required for CCBHCs, CQMs, and ONC standards called AHC-HRSN Screening Tool has been added to the system on the Timeline. Users must configure the AHC-HRSN Screening Tool form within Configuration - Client Chart > VHR Timeline  to make it available. Update to $0 Payments Billing An update has been made to the way $0 payments affect Charges with a Status of Done. If the $0 payment is a Denial, an Unapplied Payment will now be created. If the $0 is not a Denial, no payments will be created. A Denial is identified by the Transaction Definition being set as a Denial transaction. Enrollment Discharge Reasons Defined List - Updated Fields The Enrollment Discharge Reasons defined list now includes the following fields: Code, Description, EndDate, and StartDate. Code and Description are mandatory fields while EndDate and StartDate are optional. This update improves the management of enrollment discharge reasons by providing more flexibility and ensuring data accuracy. NOTE:  The selection in the Client Enrollments screen will respect the Start and End Dates of the Discharge reason. This does not apply to custom enrollments screen.  Update to Service link in Claims The service link in the Claims modal has been updated to blue to match other hyperlinks on the Claims screen. All hyperlinks, including the service link, are now consistently displayed in blue. Clicking the service link will open the associated service. This update ensures a uniform appearance for hyperlinks, enhancing the user experience. Changes to Aging Detail By Payer & Aging Detail for Export Reports Changes were made to the Aging Detail By Payer and Aging Detail for Export reports concerning Unapplied Payments. Previously, Unapplied Payments not associated with a charge, remittance, or service were displaying as blanks. Now, an asterisk (*) will display if this is the case. In addition, these reports also display the created Status for clarity. Feature Removed from Reprocessing We have removed a feature that was introduced in Version 3.63 of the application, see Release Notes: October 21, 2024 - 3.63 Addendum for more information. Reprocessing is no longer prevented if there is an associated Remittance with a Status of 'Ready' or 'Not Ready.' Reprocessing will be allowed, and users will need to go to Remittances after Reprocessing to associate the remittance to the correct newly-created charge.   Defect FixesPayer Rate Override Fix In Configuration - Services/Payers > Payers > Rates, an issue was fixed where the Rate Override Save button was enabled without completed required fields in the Payer Override screen.  Client Date of Birth Field Issue An issue was resolved where when updating the Date of Birth manually on a newly created Client would present an error. Duplicate Remittances Issue An issue was resolved where remittances were displaying as duplicates in the Remittances > Batches screen.  Claim Reprocessing Fix An issue was resolved where a claim could not be reprocessed if a Void Request was created. Program End Date Issue An issue was corrected where users were unable to add programs to a diagnosis when the program's start date is after the existing diagnosis date. The dropdown menu will continue to recognize and respect program end dates. Addendum: The following item was released with Version 3.66 but previously omitted from these release notes.Progress Note Form Tab Function Issue An issue was resolved where users were unable to cycle through the fields in Progress Note form using the tab key. Jump to Section: Improvements Portal Defect Fixes Portal App   App Version: 20250116.4  Improvements PortalNew Organization Setting to Enable/Disable Timesheets A new organization-level setting has been added to Catalyst. Organizations can choose whether or not they still use the Timesheets features in Catalyst.   IMPORTANT:  If your organization still uses any of the Timesheets features, it’s important that an administrator for your organization checks the box to “Enable Timesheets” in Administration > Organization Settings. This setting is available now but will not take effect until our mid-February release.    Defect Fixes PortalBehavior Graphing "Merge data into single series" Showing Incorrect Rate for Count/Hour  An issue with the Count/Hour graph for Rate Behaviors that have been merged into a single series has been resolved.  Draft SOAP Notes created in the portal are showing in the “Published” section of the mobile app  This issue has been resolved.  Intermittently Receiving Error when Running Devices Report  A database improvement has been applied to resolve an issue users reported running the Devices Report.   AppWhen the user selects the "Intermixed" momentum type, the app does not auto-advance after the first momentum target is presented  The app will now auto-advance as expected.  New SOAP Notes intermittently being treated as SOAP Note edits  We’ve applied a code change to resolve an issue where newly created SOAP Notes on the app are intermittently being treated as edits to a SOAP Note.  When in a Template Signature Field and the User Presses the Device Back Button, the App Does Not Revert to Portrait Mode (remains in Landscape)  This issue has been resolved.  "Session Settings" are reset when the user taps refresh sync to sync certain data from the portal  Session Settings in the app will no longer reset based on sync data.  Some Students not Available for Download  We’ve resolved an error on student download that could cause a student to not show in the “Available for Download” or “On Device” list on the app.  Mobile SOAP Notes in Draft not Publishing without Making an Edit (released in hotfix)  This issue has been resolved. Draft SOAP Notes can now be published from the app without requiring an edit to a field on the note.  Fluency/Rate Target Timer Enhancements  We’ve made improvements to Fluency/Rate target timers to improve performance issues. We’ll be making these same improvements to other target and behavior timers.  When a User queues Students for User A and then pins in as User B, the student list is empty and does not show any students available to download  This issue has been resolved.   [Back to Top]

Jump to Section: New Features & Improvements Defect Fixes  New Features & Improvements Appointment Requests This new feature can allow patients or caregivers to request appointments via the patient portal based on a therapist’s availability. Learn More: Appointment Requests Overview Request a Visit Signature  You can now request a signature to confirm services were performed, allowing the portal user to provide the signature via the patient portal. Once a visit signature has been provided via the patient portal, it will be included automatically on daily notes when viewing, downloading, emailing or faxing the document.  Learn More: Get a Visit SignatureRequest a Visit Signature: To request a visit signature while editing a daily note, click the Visit Signature button at the bottom, click the Portal tab, and select a portal user associated with the patient to send the request to.   You can also request a visit signature for a daily note that has already been completed. Navigate to the list of completed daily notes and click the Visit Signature icon.   This icon will change if a visit signature has already been requested and is pending, or once a signature has been provided (whether it was provided via the patient portal or in person). The Visit Signature   icon indicates that the document does not have a visit signature. (You can click this icon to Request a Visit Signature via the Patient Portal.) The Visit Signature Pending   icon indicates that a visit signature has been requested via the portal but has not been completed by the portal user. The Visit Signature Provided  icon indicates that a visit signature has been provided. After a visit signature has been requested, you can also cancel the request and send it to a different portal user by clicking the same Visit Signature button. Portal User Experience: When visit signature is requested, the portal user will receive an email asking them to log in to the patient portal to provide a signature.      In the patient portal, a notification banner will appear about the signature request. Click this banner to type a digital signature for the visit. Jump to Section:New Features & Improvements Reports  Organization Cases & Notes Reports Defect Fixes Schedule Client Portal  New Features & Improvements Reports  A new report under Appointments called the Parental Verification Form allows you to generate the Parental Verification for Receipt of Behavioral Services form that is required to submit to Regional Centers. The selected clients' billable appointments for the month as well as guardian signatures will automatically populate on this form to save you time when submitting these forms.    Organization A new organization setting called: Enable Guardian Appointment Verification Signature was added. This will allow signatures from guardians to be collected from the clients appointment page to verify the details of the appointment. These signatures can then be added to the new Parental Verification Form.   Cases & Notes Changes to a clients diagnosis codes will no longer modify the Diagnostic Impressions field when viewing previously signed progress notes or treatment plans in the application, and will now match the PDF document.  An error message will appear when a staff member attempts to sign or approve a progress note if the diagnosis codes have been removed at the same time by another staff member.   Reports The payroll report when sorting by staff members name has been updated to sort by the staff members last name instead of their first name to better align with other payroll reporting systems.    Defect Fixes Schedule Corrected an issue where appointments that were part of a recurring series that were past 60 days in the future would show an end time of 12AM instead of the true end time. This has been corrected to show the true end time of the appointment. Corrected an issue where the Default Schedule View User Preference was not redirecting the Users to the correct Schedule View when clicking on Schedule within the lefthand navigation.   Client Portal Corrected an issue where sometimes the secure messages counter was showing in a negative value. This has been corrected so that the correct number will show under the secure messages.

These changes became effective on October 10, 2024.  NewCrop - New Alert A new Alert has been introduced for NewCrop enabled users. When enabled, an Alert will display to the prescriber if a Client's Prescription has failed in NewCrop. The link present in the Alert will launch the user into their Task page in NewCrop. Default values for this Alert should not be changed. New Bundling Options  New Bundling Options are available on Bundled Service Definitions. See Service Definitions: Profile Tab for more information.  Payer-Specific Bundling Options are now available under Payers. See Payers: Bundled Services Tab for more information.  New Core Assessment - Mental Status Exam (MSE) Form  The Mental Status Exam (MSE) form is now available within the [Client] Timeline. The form is based on a modified APA MSE template, ensuring comprehensive and standardized assessments. The system displays values for each question based on the active values in user defined lists. FormDesignEHR Version 6.0.43 This version update resolves an issue where if the Style Properties on one field were changed, the change would be applied to all fields in the form when opened within the [Client] Timeline.  Provider Taxonomy PRV Segment The Provider Taxonomy PRV Segment is no longer reported unless the Staff member being reported has a Taxonomy value.  271 Import Validation The 271 Import process now validates that the GS08 version number matches that of a valid 271. If it is not a valid 271 file, the system will not attempt to import the file and will instead produce an error. Unapplied Payments - Change to Processing for Reprocessed Payments In cases where Unapplied Payments are not applied before reprocessing a claim, the Unapplied Payments job will fail. To prevent this, processing will now skip any Unapplied Payments that are attached to reprocessed payments. Informs - Client Contact Information If a client contact does not have a First and Last Name added in their Profile, and only includes the email address, the contact will no longer be available for selection as a recipient in Informs.  [Back to Top]   Defect FixesClaims Management Filtering An issue was resolved where filters that are present in the Claims > Claims Management tab were not visible if the user navigated away from that screen and returned.  Informs - Sharing Forms for Confidential Client When sharing a form for a Confidential Client via an email link, when the link is clicked, the recipient of the email will now see the Client's name and the signatory name will show instead of "Confidential Client".  When sharing a form via Informs for a Confidential Client, Episode Staff will now see the Client's name in the Share Forms window.  837 Professional - Other Payers  A defect was corrected where Other Payers without a charge were being reported on the 837P file without adjudication information. Those Other Payers will not be reported unless the configuration indicates that Loop 2320 AMT*A8 is required.  Remittance Reprocessing Adjustment Messages A defect was corrected where manual Adjustment Messages were not copied correctly during Reprocessing. The Messages were missing the value within the Code field, which resulted in incorrect CAS segment reporting. The value is now copied forward for reporting.  Clients > Payers > Add Payer Error An issue was resolved where users were experiencing an error when attempting to click "x" and clear the Payer field within the Add new Client Payer window.  Group Event - Add Client Option An issue was resolved where when more than 12 Clients were scheduled in a Group Event, the Add Client option would appear in the middle of the screen. The option will now appear in the correct location. Audit Search Sorting An issue was resolved where sorting in the Audit Search screen would cause results to disappear. 270 File Creation - Submitter ID (ISA06) When creating 270 files, the ISA06 value was not being reported from the Submitter ID (ISA06) field in the Configuration - Services/Payers > [Payer] > Eligibility tab. This has been corrected so that the ISA06 value is reported from the corresponding field.  Services - Stuck on On Hold Status An issue was resolved where services were becoming stuck in "On Hold" status when the service transactions were reversed and added to a new job within Fiscal Overview > Unprocessed Services and the job was finalized.  [Back to Top]   AddendumClaims Reprocessing ChangeDue to agencies experiencing failed Remittance processing jobs, a change was made in Version 3.63. Claims can no longer be reprocessed if there is an Unprocessed Remittance attached to the current charge. Prior to this change, if a user tried to process a Remittance that was attached to a charge that had been reversed in Reprocessing, the Remittance processing job would fail. The correct order of operations for users is: Process outstanding Remittances that have a status of Ready or Not Ready. Reprocess the service. If a user tries to Reprocess a service where a charge has an attached Remittance that has not been processed, that Claim will not be added to the Reprocessing job.
