Working With The Schedule: Invoice as No Show

In the system you may elect to charge patients for not showing up for their visits. In order to do this, you must designate a charge code in your charge code table. This could be a made-up charge code such as 000000 and have whatever price you want to charge for patients that fail to show up for visits.

To initiate a no-show charge, right-click the patient in the schedule and select Invoice as No Show from the menu.

At this point, several things will happen. The first is the patient’s name will now be preceded with a green square instead of a red square in the schedule.

The visit for this patient will also receive a charge you have designated as the no-show charge, and the invoice state for this visit will automatically move to “Bill Patient”.
