A Goal tells the story of how a treatment plan has been utilized in the time that it was being utilized with a Client. It is the best practice that when you need to update information about a goal, objective, or intervention that you update the history to better show the story of the treatment plan, do not edit the information.

IMPORTANT: Editing the goal allows you to modify or correct the existing Goal. To make changes, update the history instead of edit.

 

  1. Hover over the Managers tab in the navigation bar, and select Client Manager from the drop-down.
  1. Open the appropriate Client.
 
  1. Click Client Goals in the Notes/Information section in the left menu.

  1. Click Manage Goals.

  1. To update the goal, objective, or intervention click Add New Goal History, Add New Objective History, or Add New Intervention History in the section that you are making updates to.

  1. Enter the Target and Review Date.

  1. Click the Current Status drop-down, and select the appropriate status from the list.
  1. Enter the Justification for the continuation or discontinuation of the goal, intervention, or objective.
  1. Click Add Goal History when finished.
