Medication Dispensing: TGI: Medication Setup (Tablet/Film)

This screen is setup by your Group Project manager. Only he/she has access to this screen. This is a one-time setup. If you are going to start to deliver a new medication using our Medication Dispensing Module, you will have to engage the Group to assist in your setup.

1. Methadone Medication List- Select the medications that will be available to be dispensed when an order form is created (list generated in the Lookup Manager 🡪 Medication).
2. Medication Dispensing Measurements- Select solid and liquid measurement types for the medication.
3. Medication Dispensing Cross Measurement- Allows the user to order a medication in one measurement, and dispense in another measurement, by indicating the ratio between the medications. EX: A medication can be ordered in mg, and dispensed using a pump in mL, because every 10mg of solid medication equates to 1 mL of liquid medication. So, the ratio would be Solid: 10, Liquid: 1.
4. Medication Inventory Dose Amount Splitting- Indicates a medication dose can be split accurately into smaller doses for dispensing. EX: A 40mg tablet(starting) can be split into 4x 10mg tablets(smallest).
5. Medication Dose Limit- Limits the number of doses a medication a dispense can contain. EX: If a dose amount of 5 is limited to 1, only 1, 5mg tablet can be dispensed for each dispensing row in the Medication Dispensing Screen.
