Medication Dispensing: Dispensing Window Setup

This screen allows you to create / assign windows to a specific facility.  You will also select a pump type, if you are using an Ivek pump, and assign the pump to a COM port. This is normally a one-time setup unless you open another window at a Facility / Location after this set up is completed.

To open this screen, go to Setup 🡪 Dispensing Window Setup.

Steps for Setting up a New Window:

1. Clear/New - Select Clear/New if there is information for an already created window populated.
2. Description - Enter a name for the window.
3. Location - Select the facility the window is located at.
4. Pump - Select the pump type.
5. Com Port - Select the COM Port the serial / USB port the pump is located in.

• NOTE: This must match what is set in your Device Manager (see Pump Setup Section for details).

• Save - Select to add the new window to the table below.
  

Steps for Editing an Existing Window

1. Select an existing window from the table.

• You will notice the window is now highlighted blue in the table.

Edit any desired fields (see above for a description of each field).Click Save to save your changes.
