Permissions! Clinic Staff must have Administrator, Billing Manager, Billing Assistant, or Operations Manager Permissions assigned in order to manage 835 Postings.

 

Finishing

After all claims have been dealt with and either Posted or Marked Complete, you can close the 835 Claims dialog and return to the 835 Claims dialog. If you are done with the claim, you may right-click on it and select Mark as Done from the menu, and the status icon will reflect the new status. This 835 may always be retrieved by selecting the appropriate options in the retrieval filter.

NOTE: While the 835 posting takes a lot of the leg work out of posting claims, it should not replace common sense. It is still up to you, the poster, to determine if the carrier is paying you correctly and taking appropriate collection action
