PERMISSIONS REQUIRED: You must have Billing Permissions with the ability to "Submit Claims to Clearinghouse" enabled.
Claim Rejection:
- REF02_ReferenceIdentification length outside range of (1, 9) Loop 2010AA - REF*SY*0831680510~ - (field number 2)
Fix Rejection
Your Tax ID has too many numbers. You need to edit them in the Payers section in the system.
- Click Billing tab in primary navigation bar.
- Click Insurers in side menu.
- Locate appropriate Payer.
- Correct Tax ID error.
- Click Save.
After you've made your corrections you can Resubmit a Claim.
