PERMISSIONS REQUIRED: You need the Insights permission to share a report.
Before You Begin
- These instructions are for the new version of Insights. Make sure you're in the new version by setting the toggle below the patient search to "New".
- When you share a report, a copy of it is created in the Clinic Reports section. You can modify the original report without affecting the clinic report that other users see.
- Once a report has been shared, you can change who is able to see it with the share icon in the Clinic Reports section.
- Users with the Insights permission can view and edit any clinic report.
- When a user without the Insights permission views a report shared with them:
- If the report has patient-specific information, the rows will be limited to patients that user has access to*.
- They won't be able to add other fields to the report, so they can only see the fields you pick
* The patients a user has access to in Insights depends on their permissions:
- Docs only: Access to patients the user is scheduled with
- Scheduling or Self-Scheduling: Access to patients in locations the user is assigned to
- Billing: Access to all patients
- Admin: Access to all patients
- Insights: Access to all patients
Share a Report
- Go to the Insights tab.
- Navigate to a report list, such as All My Reports.
- To the right of the report, click the share icon

- Select the roles or users who should be able to see the report.
- Click the Share Report button.
A copy of the report will be added to the Clinic Reports section.
