PERMISSIONS: You need the Insights permission to create a chart.

If you don't find a pre-built report that meets your needs, you can create your own chart. You can also create a table report.

Before You Begin

  • These instructions are for the new version of Insights. Make sure you're in the new version by setting the toggle below the patient search to "New".
  • When creating a chart, you must choose from one of Fusion's report sources.
  • A report source determines what you can group the chart by and what fields are available.
  • For a vertical bar chart, the fields you select will be on the y-axis, and the fields you group by later will be on the x-axis.

Create a Chart

  1. Go to the Insights tab.
  2. In the lower right, click the + Chart button.
  3. Choose what you want to report on from the available sources.
  4. Select the fields you want to include in the report.
  5. Click the Create Chart button.

The chart will appear with a default filter so you can make other changes.
