Using a Preferred Name
The system allows each client to have a Preferred name. The Preferred name will show in client-facing notifications and client-facing documentation.
The Preferred name will appear in a number of places:
- Client List
- Calendar Appointments
- Reminders
- Client Portal
Client List:
To enter a Preferred name for a client, click on Clients at the top and then select the client.
In the Calendar Client Name drop down, the legal name will appear with the Preferred first name in parentheses.
Once you save the client appointment, the Preferred name will show on the Calendar.
An appointment reminder or FYI will show the Preferred first name:
When a client logs into the Client Portal on an internet browser, they will see their Preferred name.
