Topaz Signature Pads - Capture Signature Locally Using Topaz Sig Pad

Now that the Topaz Signature Pad has been successfully installed and you have confirmed that the Com Port has been set correctly you can now capture your signature locally using the Topaz Signature Pad.

1. After connecting the Topaz to your computer and allowing time for the computer to recognize the device you will then launch the DemoOCX application from your computer’s desktop.
   
   
    
2. When the application opens, you should select Properties and confirm via the Tablet tab that the Com Port is set correctly. If it is correct select OK.
   
   
    
3. Next you will click the Start button and test by writing on the pad and confirm it is properly captured in the application.
   
   
    
4. If the local capture is successful, close DemoOCX and you can now capture your signature in eCR. If the local capture doesn’t work, you must correct before capturing in eCR.
