Spellcheck Dictionary

The Spellcheck Dictionary is used in collaboration with the Spell Check function built within eCR. In many cases, the language used in the Behavioral Health community would not be recognized by a traditional Spell Check function. The Spellcheck Dictionary allows users to create a customized dictionary so that words are not changed unexpectedly.

Go to Setup 🡪 Spellcheck Dictionary.



 

Add a New Word

1. To add a new word to the dictionary, scroll to the bottom.
2. In the open row, enter your new word.
3. Click Save.

Remove a Word

1. Scroll to the word you want to remove.
2. Select the word from the dictionary.
3. Click Remove.

Use Spellcheck Dictionary in Forms

When completing a form, you have two options to be able to check your spelling:

1. Right-click on any text box and click Check Spelling.
   
   
    
2. Double-click on the text box you are completing. Click Spell Check.
   
   
    
   • If eCR is unfamiliar with the word, it will open the Spell Checker Screen.
     
     
      
     • Click OK to accept the new spelling.
     • Click Cancel to go back to your text.
   • If you already added the word to the dictionary, you’ll now see this screen.
