Summary

This training guide describe how to create an RDP. Make sure anyone provided this RDP has been set up with a username and password by your Project Manager.

Access

RDPs are available through the Remote Desktop Connection app on your desktop.


 

Creating an RDP

1. Open the Remote Desktop Connection app.
   
   
    
2. Click on Show Options to expand.
   
   
    
3. General Tab > Replace the “Computer” box with the site name.
   • For Beta enter: ___beta.10e11.com
   • For Live enter: ___.10e11.com
4. Enter tgisaas\ as the User name.
   • This will force you to enter the username every time and allows you to easily send the RDP.
     
     
      
5. Display Tab > in Display Configuration, make sure the arrow is dragged all the way to the right to use full screen.
   
   
    
6. Local Resources Tab > In Local devices and resources select More.
   
   
    
7. Check all of the available boxes and click OK.
   
   
    

General Tab

In Connection settings, click Save As and select a file path that is easily accessible.


 

You are now able to send this RDP as you wish.
