Beta Freeze Description
Once your system is set up completely and everything is tested to its fullest extent, we will look at freezing your Beta environment. What this means is your current environment will be “frozen” in order to be able to create your Live environment. Once we submit the ticket during this week for your Live environment to be created, any updates to your Beta cannot be guaranteed to be in Live. This will take approximately 30-45 days. Once complete, we will have your team log into the Live environment with their updated login information (ie, UsernameBeta will become Username). We will go over a checklist to review your Live environment and ensure all areas are working correctly.
Once the Live checklist is completed, you will either have an upload of all your Client/Patient demographics completed, per your contract, or this step will be completed manually by your team. From here, we will begin the End-User training and all ancillary training in your Live environment.
Going forward, you can use your Beta environment to train staff internally or to test items prior to bringing them to your Live environment. Keep in mind that, once we submit the ticket during this week for your Live environment to be created, any updates to your Beta cannot be guaranteed to be in Live.
WEEK 15
Customer End-User Training to be completed by the Customer
Note there is no call this week.
This week is for you to train your staff. Your Project Manager will give you an outline of a training plan that you can use to train your End-User team. The goal is to begin getting the End-Users up to speed on what their day will look like within eCR and have them become comfortable with the system prior to Go Live.
