Customize Demographic Options on Patient Registration Form

You can control what demographic information is captured during patient registration. Main demographic fields on the patient registration form can be set to required or optional, and fields for additional demographic information can be set to hidden, required or optional. You can customize these settings in System Configurations.

Customize Demographic Options on Patient Registration Form

1. Click Setup from the menu bar at the top.
2. Select System Configurations.
3. Click the drop-down menu next to the demographic field to select Optional or Required in the Patient Information section.
   
    
4. Click the drop-down menu next to the demographic field to select Hidden, Optional or Required in the Additional Fields section.
   
5. Click Save.
6. Required information fields display with a green check mark on the Patient Registration Form.
