Medications may not be listed in EchoVantage because they are uncodified meds that are unable to be mapped (no NDC number or identified parts).

For context, when medications are being converted for NewCrop they are checked against a drug database. If the medication is codified, the system will map these automatically. If the system is unable to find a code match in the database, they are considered free-text and will need to be mapped manually. Mapping is important because free-text medications are not recognized in system checks for reactions and interactions during the prescribing process.

To rectify this, agencies have the option to take one of the following steps for each patient record:

  1. Map this to a codified med
  2. Discontinue it to not see in active meds
  3. SureScripts Benefit History import of outside
