To resolve the error message Application Cannot Be Started when attempting to run the system, you must locate and delete the 2.0 Folder from the computer. This will then allow you to download a new copy of the app.

To start, follow this path on your computer from your File Explorer: This PC\Local Disk (C:)\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0

Listed below is a step-by-step guide on how to find and delete this folder.

  1. Open a new folder, click This PC and locate the Local Disk (C:) Double-click the Local Disk to view all folders on this drive.

  2. Find the View option at the top of the window. Click View to see more folder options.

  3. A drop-down menu will appear. Check the Hidden items box. This will make all protected contents visible.

  4. Double-click the Users folder to view all those that operate that particular computer.

  5. Double-click that particular User’s folder who is experiencing this problem on the computer.

    NOTE: Your users list will differ - select the user you are currently logged into the PC as. In some circumstances, the 2.0 Folder may need to be deleted on all user folders.

  6. Double-click the AppData folder to proceed to the next window.

  8. Double-click the Apps folder, this is where the 2.0 folder is housed.

  9. Inside the Apps folder you now see the 2.0 data folder. Highlight the folder then press the Delete key. Folder will now disappear and when you run the system again, it will download a new copy.

    NOTE: In some circumstances, the computer's Anti-Virus program may need to be temporarily disabled before deleting the 2.0 Folder. Run the system, login, then re-enable the anti-virus program afterwards.

  10. You are now done and can now try launching the system again from your company's login page. You should be prompted to re-download the app to your PC and it should launch after it has finished downloading.
