How to Clear Cache on the App
Android:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Apps.
- Select the app.
- Select Storage.
- Click Clear Cache.
Apple:
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to iPad Storage.
- Select the app.
- Click Offload App.
- Click Re-Install App.
Clearing your cache on the app may help with the following issues.
- PIN error on the device after the Password and PIN change/reset.
- Sync issues.
- Temporary password issues.
- The Client not showing in the app.
Temporary Password
Please have them login on to the web portal with their username and that password.
As soon as they log in, they will be prompted immediately to change their Password and PIN. (Just FYI, the PIN cannot be the same as a previous one).
Once they have done this, they should be able to log in to their device.
If they get a PIN error on the device after the Password and PIN change, have them clear the cache.
Temporary Password
Your temporary password is DFTtest123!
- Go to secure.datafinch.com and enter your Username and temporary Password.
- You will be asked to change your Password and PIN (FYI, the PIN cannot be the same as a previous one).
Once you change your Password, be sure to remove yourself as a User on the App and then re-login.
- Open Manage Users screen on the App.
- Remove yourself as a User.
- Re-login with updated Password and PIN.
Sync Programs
- Go to Programs to Run on the App.
- Tap Select All.
- And then check for those Targets.
Client Not Showing in App
Manually Refresh the Client
- After you enter your PIN, press Manage Students.
- Remove your Student and then re-add them.
- Check back in the Client's Profile to see if the Programming is correct.
Refresh your User Profile
- Go to the PIN screen by pressing Lock.
- Tap Manage Users.
- Remove yourself and then log in again with your Username and Password again.
- OR, go to Maintenance Screen > Click on the Gear > Click on Programs to Run > Unselect All Programs > Reselect Programs.
