The system gives you the ability to create a Master Username. There may be situations where you need more than one person to access YOUR account simultaneously. A Master Username allows for this, all while providing all account activity logging required by HIPAA.
This function is used primarily for Group Practices or billing services where more than one individual needs to access YOUR account.
IMPORTANT: It is NEVER a good idea to share Account Passwords. You should change your password whenever you believe it may be known by another individual, in addition to changing it regularly.

Create Provider Accounts
- Create an account for each Provider.
- Navigate to https://app.myclientsplus.com/cgi-bin/cp/signup.cgi
- Fill in the form and click Create My Account.
Create Master Username & Password
- Once each Provider has an account with a Username and Password, log into one of the Accounts.
- Click Account Access from left menu and select Allow Account Access.
- Enter a Username and Password and click Add Username.
- This new username will become your Master Username.
Access Other Accounts
- Log out of the original Provider Username (the one you just used)
- Log in with the new Master Username and Password. You will still be in the Provider account, but it is the username that is important.
- Click Account Access from left menu and select Access Other Accounts.
- Enter the Username and Password for each of the Provider accounts that you would like to link to the Master Username.
- Click Find Account and then Join Account.
Set Access Level
- Click Account Access from left menu and select Username Privileges.
- Click Plus (+) sign next to appropriate Username.
- Select Full Access, View Only or No Access if there are portions of the system where you would like to restrict access.
- Or delete unused Usernames if needed.
Master Files for Group Setup
- Start by entering the information into one account.
- When you are logged into your master username, you can choose any provider account and click on Account Access and then Copy Codes to Another Account.
- Choose the provider account that you entered the information into as the Copy From account and choose the account you wish to copy the information to as the account in the drop-down boxes. Choose the files you would like to copy and click Continue Select the files and click Copy Now.
