This document is to teach users how to set up the Auto Notifications for the facilities that use the scheduler. The function of the Auto Dialer is to send out reminder notifications to patients for upcoming appointments.

Setup
- Click Setup.
- Select Operations Setup.
- Select Service Facilities There must be a service facility set up for the Auto Dialer to work; not just a business unit.
- Once the Service Facilities page comes up the user should click on the Auto Notify Options tab.
- The Auto Notify Options screen will pull up. This screen is where the user will choose which days the auto Dialer will call each day of appointments scheduled on the scheduler.
- Example: If the user would like the Auto dialer to call Wednesdays appointments on Monday the user should set that option by clicking on the arrow and clicking the day. The user can choose multiple days to be called.
- Click Save once all days are chosen.
Access From the Schedule
Users can access the Auto Dialer from the Schedule.
- To access the Auto Notification Options for patients on the Schedule, edit the patient’s appointment.
- Locate and click the Edit Patients Auto Notifications Options in the patient’s appointment box in the bottom right corner.
- When the Auto Notifications Option box populates the system will display the information input during the admit process. Select the way the system should notify the patient of an appointment.
- The system will retain this information and the user will not need to set this again.

- The user must choose the corresponding option of Voice, Text, and/or Email for each contact type. Multiple options are allowed.
- If nothing is checked in the check box, the system will not send out a notification for the contact type. The notification will not work if the corresponding box does not match the Type. For example: If the type is Email, Clicking the option of Phone will not work.
- Click Save.
Group Sessions
Users can also add Auto Notifications to patients that are scheduled for Group sessions.

- Edit the Group appointment that is scheduled.
- Click on the patients name at the bottom under the Patients section.
- Click Edit Auto Notification Options.
- Edit the Group appointment that is scheduled.
Patient Table
The last way a user can set up the auto dialer is from the Enterprise screen on the Patient Table.
- From the Enterprise, click Setup.
- Select Patient Account Management.
- Select Patients.
- Filter for the desired patients(s). The Auto Notify Options link is displayed to the left of the patient as shown below.
NOTE: The Auto Dialer will only call patients that have appointments scheduled on the scheduler.
