Prescribers have the option to select override reasons for any interaction alerts that are identified by the system before the prescription is sent to the pharmacy.
NOTE: Alert settings can be managed in Clinical Options.
Interaction alerts display at the top of the Transmit Rx page. Prescribers can select an override reason for each drug from the drop-down menus in the Drug Review Override column.
Drug Review Override Options:
- Not clinically significant
- Patient has taken combination without a problem
- Benefits outweigh risks
- Other: see notes (If you select Other: see notes, an additional note field will open.)
